My name is Ann, and I am the owner of Magiica's kennel and a pack of Finnish Lapponions. During the week I work at a fire and rescue department. When I'm not working I'm spending time training dogs in the wilderness, quality time with family, or doing chores at home in our house and garden.
I train our dogs in different activities, such as; obedience, nosework, person- and gametracking, and canicross. I also work towards preserving the herding instincts of the breed, and regularly train herding on sheep. All training is set to each individual dog, their ability, and what they like to do. I'm also away on a couple of dog shows each year to evaluate my breeding.
My interest in animals started early, as I grew up on a farm. My first dog was a boxer and I trained her as a rescue dog. After that, I had Cane Corso for a few years until I got my first Finnish Lapponion at the beginning of the millennium. Maybe there will be another breed in the kennel in the future, who knows. Time will tell.
My goal is to breed healthy, and mentally nice dogs of the correct type.
