Som valpköpare hos oss ska du vara aktiv med din hund och villig att genomföra nödvändig hälsoundersökning när tiden är inne. Om du planerar att kastrera /sterilisera hunden får du leta vidare och köpa valp av någon annan.
Vi önskar ha kontakt med blivande valpintressenter i god tid innan våra valpkullar föds. Om ni är intresserade av valp från mig vill jag att ni kommer och hälsar på i kenneln och träffar de vuxna hundarna först. Detta är dock ingen säkerhet för att man får köpa valp av just oss. Valpintressenten ska se så att de är säkra på att detta är rasen de tänkt sig och jag ska känna mig trygg med valet av valpens nya hem. Er plan för hundköp måste vara fullständigt genomtänkt!
Vi vill vi att ni besvarar dessa frågor:
När valparna är födda, och vi ser att allt går bra med tiken och valparna, uppdaterar vi vår hemsida med information samt meddelar er valpintressenter via mail eller telefon. Den första tiden går helt åt att prioritera den nya familjen, varav vi ber er att ha tålamod och vänta på att information ges. Vi tar tidigast emot besök av valpköpare efter det att valparna blivit minst 4 veckor gamla. Ett hundköp är ett viktigt beslut som ska tas. Vid besök vill vi därför inte ha hela släkten på besök, då det kan bli ganska stirrigt för valparna. Endast de som kommer ha tät kontakt med valpen/ hunden bör närvara. Då blir besöket både lugnt och sansat och det blir trevligt för både tiken, valparna, er och mig. Ingen ska behöva känna sig stressad.
Först under valpens sista två veckor (6-8 veckors ålder) väljs valparna ut i samråd med mig som uppfödare. Vid den åldern kan man lättare se valparnas olika personligheter och vilken valp som skulle passa bäst i just er familj. Detta för att en lugn valp och en aktiv valp ska komma till sina rätta hem. Det mår alla bäst av. Det är viktigt för oss att veta att hunden får det bra och att man kan ha en tät och bra kontakt även efter att valpen flyttat till sitt nya hem.
Vi följer våra valpar även i vuxen ålder och vill ha en så bred utvärdering som möjligt av vår avel. Därför vill vi att hunden höftledsröntgas (Hd/ed) vid ca 24 månaders ålder samt att ögonlysning görs. Något vi försöker att samordna för er som bor i kennelns närhet. Meddela oss resultatet då vi vill följa upp vår avel för utvärdering. Vi vill också gärna veta om er hund skulle drabbas av sjukdom eller uppvisa några andra hälsorelaterade bekymmer. Detta önskemål är inget vi ställer för skojs skull utan det är viktigt för vår fortsatta avel. Utan hälsoresultat kan man inte fullt utvärdera valpkullens genetiska arvsanlag.
Givetvis är ni välkomna att kontakta oss när ni vill för att få svar på era frågor. Vi vill ha fortsatt kontakt med er genom telefonsamtal, mail och kennelns Facebookgrupp (gärna med massor av bilder på hunden) och givetvis fysiska besök. För oss är det jättejobbigt att skiljas från våra valpar. Det är skönt att ha en bra kontakt så vi vet att dom mår bra.
Vi anordnar 1-2 gånger om året olika typer av aktiviteter i samband med kennelträffar. Därutöver särskilda träningshelger etc. Håll utkik på hemsidan under aktiviteter, eller via vår Facebookgrupp kring vad som är på gång.
Vi förbehåller oss rätten att välja köpare med stor omsorg för att hitta aktiva, kärleksfulla och livslånga hem till våra valpar.
Vi har ingen kölista på valpar, men ni kan alltid kontakta oss för frågor och intresseanmälan.
Vi bedriver uppfödning av finsk lapphund. Målsättningen med vår avel är att föda upp friska, sunda och mentalt trevliga hundar av den rätta typen. Vi använder bara hundar i avel som är friska, ögonlysta och HD-röntgade samt mentalt stabila.
Vi följer SKK´s bestämmelser, leverans sker tidigast vid 8 veckors ålder. Valparna är då registrerade, avmaskade, vaccinerade, veterinärsbesiktigade, chip-märkta samt försäkrade i 3 år mot dolda fel.
If you've not intended to activate and examine your dog's health, or are planning to neuter/sterilize the dog, we kindly ask you to look elsewhere though we do not sell dogs for that cause.
We wish to have contact with future puppy buyers before our litters are born. If you are interested in a pup from us we want you to contact, and come to visit our kennel and our adults first. However, this makes no guarantee that you will get a puppy. We require to meet our puppy buyers in person to know what they have planned with their future dog and if they have thought it through properly. It´s important that the puppy buyer is certain that Finnish Lapponion is the breed they want, and we should feel safe with the choice of the pup's new home.
We want you to answers these questions:
As soon as the puppies are born, and we see that the new family is doing fine, we will update our homepage and contact those who have shown their interest in the litter. Our priority during the beginning is dedicated fully to the new pups in the family, so have the patience to wait for our contact. You are not allowed to come and visit us until the pups have turned at least 4 weeks old. To buy a dog is an important decision and when you visit us we just want to welcome the family members that will be buyers, those that will have close contact with the pup, not all of your relatives. This creates a calm situation for the bitch and her pups and a nice visit for you and me. No one should feel stressed.
During the pups' two last weeks stay (6-8 weeks of age) we will decide which pup will go for which home. At this stage of life, you can more easily see their different personalities between the puppies and therefore see which pup would be suitable for your home and situation. To send the right puppy to the right home is very important. This makes all feel well. It is important for us that the pup has a good home and that we can have close contact even after the pup has moved to its new home.
We follow our pups even after they have grown up and want a full evaluation of our breeding. We want you to x-ray the dog (hips HD/elbows ED) at the age of 24 months and that you make an eye scan. Send us a message with your dog's result as we want to evaluate our breeding. We would also like you to contact us if your dog becomes sick or suffer from any other health problems. This requirement is nothing we ask for fun, it´s important for our future breeding program. Without health results, there´s no way to make a full evaluation of the puppies and genetic heredity from their parents.
Of course, you are welcome to contact us anytime with your questions. We want to have close contact with you by telephone, email or kennel Facebookgroup (please attach pictures), or a personal visit. It´s hard for us to separate from the pups and it is good to know that we can have a nice contact to see that they are alright.
We arrange 1-2 times a year different dog activities by kennel meet-ups. And sometimes also special training weekends. Look under the page activities or at our Facebook group what´s coming up next.
We breed Finnish Lapponion. The goal of our breeding is to breed healthy and mentally fine dogs of the right type. We only use dogs that are healthy, eye examined, HD x-rayed, and mentally stable.
We follow SKK's regulations, delivery takes place at the earliest at 8 weeks of age. The puppies are then registered, dewormed, vaccinated, vet inspected, chip-marked, and insured for 3 years against hidden defects.
